Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee, tea, and speciality beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene protocols are strictly followed during food preparation and service.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service.
- Handle cash register transactions with basic maths skills, giving correct change and processing payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and seating areas throughout shifts.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks when required, ensuring all items meet health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not essential; training can be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to manage time efficiently to handle multiple tasks simultaneously during busy periods.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
- A positive attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
