Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, washrooms, communal areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are cleaned to the highest standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet roll as needed
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to minimise hazards and maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the supervisor promptly
- Maintain a tidy storage area for cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within allocated timeframes
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and techniques is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
