Your mission is simple: support the General Manager to grow sales, drive profit and deliver brilliant guest experiences—every shift, every day. You’ll lead from the front, build a high-performing team and master all senior management responsibilities as you prepare for progression .

What You’ll Be DoingRunning a Brilliant Bar
- Oversee day-to-day bar operations, stock, cash, ordering and compliance
- Keep the bar immaculate, fully stocked and operating smoothly
- Ensure all health, safety and company standards are met—always
- Use systems correctly and hit all admin and reporting deadlines
Leading & Developing the Team
- Recruit, train and develop supervisors and bar teams
- Motivate, coach and inspire through great leadership and recognition
- Address performance issues quickly and fairly, following company process
- Communicate clearly through meetings, shift huddles, 1-2-1s and handovers
Driving Sales & Profit
- Deliver food & drink GP, wages and controllable cost targets
- Set and communicate daily, weekly and monthly sales targets
- Flex wages daily to suit the business
- Implement promotions and upselling strategies
- Analyse sales, trends and feedback to maximise revenue
Creating Memorable Guest Experiences
- Be highly visible and hands-on during service
- Ensure every guest is welcomed, engaged and thanked
- Train the team to confidently recommend, upsell and personalise service
- Resolve complaints professionally, turning issues into positives
Menus, Drinks & Industry Know-How
- Help create exciting, profitable menus aligned with trends and guests
- Source quality products and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Stay ahead of industry trends and local competition
