Job description:
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team.. Must have your own tools and be capable of basic plumbing, basic electrics, and general handyman tasks.
Experience is a must for this post.
Duties
- Keep any areas, outbuildings clean and tidy.
- Clear snow and grit the drives, paths, and any areas to which service users, visitors, or staff have access.
- Cut the grass and trim any flowerbeds hanging baskets etc.
- Clean all signs/lighting outside the home.
- Carry out any patching up or touching up of decoration as and when required.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical systems, including welding and electrical components.
- Troubleshoot issues
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed work orders and inventory of supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
Work hours: 25 hours per week
Shift time (Mon to Fri) 10am to 3pm
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: From £13.50 per hour
