Love working outdoors? Take pride in creating outstanding sports facilities?
We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Grounds Maintenance Operative to help maintain and develop some of North East Lincolnshire's leading sports facilities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and wants to make a real impact on the experience of athletes, clubs and community users.
What You'll Be Doing:
As part of our Operations team, you will:

Carry out grounds maintenance including mowing, hedge cutting, landscaping, planting and upkeep of flower beds and shrubbery.
Safely operate and maintain a range of grounds maintenance machinery, vehicles and equipment, including mowers, tractors, line markers and utility vehicles.
Mark out sports pitches accurately to meet the requirements of football leagues, governing bodies and customer bookings.
Keep the site clean, safe and welcoming by removing litter, graffiti and other hazards.
Support the management of pitch bookings and fixtures, helping to ensure facilities meet Sport England and league compliance standards.
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and vehicles to ensure they remain safe and fully operational.
Monitor and report on pitch conditions, providing information and recommendations to support operational decision-making.
Assist with maintaining supporting facilities including changing rooms, toilets and communal areas.
