As Restaurant Supervisor, you will support the management team in leading the front-of-house operation and delivering an experience worthy of Rosette recognition and beyond.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the restaurant
- Delivering consistently exceptional guest service
- Supervising, motivating, and guiding the team during service
- Maintaining high service standards in line with Rosette aspirations
- Assisting with team training and development
- Acting as a point of contact for guests, ensuring a polished yet welcoming experience
This is more than a service role, it’s a key position within a restaurant on an exciting upward trajectory.

- Has experience in a similar hospitality or supervisory role
- Understands high service standards within quality-driven environments
- Leads by example and supports team performance

The Grand Cafe Edinburgh is located on North Bridge and housed within the iconic Scotsman Hotel building. Open every day from 10 am until late, the all-day cafe style menu includes dishes served all the way through until 10 pm, as well as beautifully crafted afternoon teas. In the evenings, live music from pianists and jazz bands takes patrons through to the wee hours.
