Support Worker
Location: Shrewsbury
Salary: £30,273 to £34,275 ( Inclusive of sleep in's )
Shifts : Long day shifts and sleep in's required

Are you energetic, hands-on, and passionate about supporting young people? We are seeking enthusiastic and caring Support Workers to join a dedicated team in a supportive children’s home. Your energy and commitment will help children build confidence, enjoy new experiences, and create positive memories through everyday activities and adventures.
What you will do:
- Work as part of a caring, professional team within a safe, nurturing environment.
- Act as a positive role model, offering encouragement and praise to children.
- Facilitate fun activities such as swimming, skating, and go-karting to promote social and emotional development.
- Provide emotional and practical support in challenging situations.
- Build trusting relationships and support children’s independence and personal growth.
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
- A caring, resilient, and flexible approach.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Care experience or transferable skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins.
Desirable:
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3/5 or equivalent.
