Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, ensuring consistency and quality in meal presentation
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in all aspects of food preparation and handling
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, well-maintained, and stored appropriately
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an Italian Kitchen is preferred
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene
- Previous restaurant experience demonstrating proficiency in meal preparation and serving
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications are essential
