Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV / Scaffolder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures on various construction sites. This role requires attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. Experience with flatbed transportation, driving, and commercial delivery is advantageous, as the role may involve transporting scaffolding materials between sites.
Duties
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures according to safety standards and project specifications
- Inspect scaffolding components regularly to ensure stability and safety throughout the project
- Transport scaffolding materials using flatbed lorries or other suitable vehicles
- Assist with loading and unloading materials at different sites, ensuring proper handling and storage
- Collaborate with other construction team members to facilitate smooth workflow
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently during all phases of work
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed for each project
Qualifications
- Proven experience in scaffolding construction or related trades
- Knowledge of flatbed transportation and safe driving practices
- Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred
- Valid driving licence suitable for operating flatbed lorries or similar vehicles
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret safety instructions
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Physical fitness to handle lifting and working at heights safely
- Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
