Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled Fitter to join our friendly team.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Fitter to take charge of precise, high-quality installations. In this role, you will be responsible for measuring, fitting, and securing lightweight warm roof panels, as well as handling interior and exterior finishes to ensure the ultimate customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities
- Roof Installation: Safely remove old conservatory roofs and install modern, lightweight solid or insulated tiled warm roof systems (e.g., Leka systems).
- Carpentry & Joinery: Accurately measure, cut, and secure materials for optimal, watertight fits.
- Finishing Work: Apply weatherproofing, trim, moulding, and complete interior/exterior finishing to a high standard.
- Site Management: Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment at all times, adhering strictly to building regulations.
- Customer Care: Represent Norwich Conservatory Roofs with a polite, professional, and helpful demeanor when interacting with clients on-site.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Proven experience in conservatory installation, roofing, or window/door fitting.
- Skills: Strong background in carpentry and joinery techniques.
- Transport: Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have a reliable means of transportation.
- Tools: Must have own hand and power tools.
- Work Ethic: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well either independently or as part of an installation team.
