The Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing within a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
You will work alongside experienced nursery practitioners and managers to provide high-quality care and engaging experiences for children aged 0-5 years.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting children's learning through play and activities
- Assisting with daily routines, including meal times and personal care
- Creating a safe, positive and welcoming environment
- Encouraging children's social, emotional and physical development
- Supporting outdoor play and educational activities
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Following safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
- Assisting nursery staff with observations and daily records

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Passion for working with children
- Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Previous nursery, childcare, education or early years experience
- Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Qualification
- Paediatric First Aid
- Knowledge of the EYFS Framework
- Full UK Driving Licence
