Dental Receptionist – Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Location: Glasgow
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and experienced Dental Receptionist to join our well-established and growing practice in Glasgow.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in delivering a welcoming and efficient front-of-house experience. You’ll be responsible for managing reception duties, supporting our clinical team, and ensuring the smooth running of our busy practice.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a dental reception role (essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident handling appointment bookings, patient queries, and front desk tasks
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, team-focused attitude with a patient-first approach
- Proficiency in dental management systems and office software (advantageous)
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and check in patients, ensuring a positive experience from the start
- Efficiently manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations
- Maintain accurate patient records while upholding confidentiality
- Handle calls and respond to patient queries professionally
- Process payments and assist with billing inquiries
- Collaborate with the dental team to support smooth day-to-day operations
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organised reception area
- Carry out additional administrative duties as required
