Job Purpose/Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small, dynamic in-house team, helping to keep on top of day-to-day administration. In this role, you will support the team with general admin tasks, including setting up new customer accounts, creating new products, managing customer buying lists, and much more.
We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated individual who can take ownership of tasks independently while collaborating smoothly within a close-knit team. We welcome forward-thinking, enthusiastic people who want to get stuck in and actively contribute to pushing DDC Foods forward.
Below is an overview of the key responsibilities, but as you progress, you can expect plenty of variety to be added to the role.
- Account Setup: Create new customer accounts and ensure all online platforms for these clients are up to date with accurate details.
- System Updates: Update imagery and product data across different internal and external systems.
- Reporting: Assist customers and suppliers by running and distributing basic reports throughout the month, as well as regular monthly reports at the start of each month.
- Data Alignment: Keep customers' online buying lists accurate, ensuring our internal systems perfectly align with customer portals.
- New Product Setup: Create new products within the system from product forms supplied by the purchasing department.
The hours of work will be Monday - Friday 9.30 am - 2.30 pm onsite.
Key Skills:
- Excel: Use of MS Excel, using multiple spreadsheets and some formulas.
- Numeracy: Good with numbers, data, and calculating percentages.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy when managing customer accounts and adding data to spreadsheets.
- Design (Bonus): Previous experience with Adobe Creative Suite / Canva is not essential but would be beneficial.
