A leading UK textile company is looking to take on a new Fabric Cutter at entry level — an ideal opportunity for a school or college leaver who wants to learn a trade and build a career in the textile industry.
This isn't a stopgap warehouse role. We'll train you in how to cut and handle fabric properly, but we're looking for the right person to teach: someone with a genuine interest in working with their hands, a strong eye for detail, and the kind of pride in their work that can't be trained in.
You'll be based in our warehouse and will support the wider team, but the heart of the role is the fabric itself — cutting it accurately, handling it well, and making sure every order leaves us looking the part.
What you'll be doing
- Learning to cut fabrics accurately and consistently to order
- Handling, storing and picking fabrics in line with our quality standards
- Preparing and dispatching orders with exceptional presentation
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day operational tasks
- Helping with stock takes, deliveries and general warehouse organisation
- Maintaining a safe, tidy and compliant working environment
Who we're looking for
- A school or college leaver, or someone at the start of their working life, looking to learn a trade
- A genuine interest in working with fabric and textiles, and a willingness to develop a craft
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the finished product
- Reliable, hands-on, and happy to be on your feet throughout the day
- Basic computer skills
- Comfortable giving and receiving written and verbal feedback
- A keen attitude, willing to take responsibility and progress within the business

- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 4.00pm
