Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including commercial establishments and hotels. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, replenish towels, and restock toiletries as needed.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a pristine environment.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and shampoo carpets as required.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations within the establishment.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
