We are seeking a Estate Maintenance Support to join our family of Care Homes. As a Estate Maintenance Lead at Caron Group, you will be involved with the general maintenance upkeep and repair to the grounds and fabric of the building.
Key Responsibilities:
- To be responsible and take charge of ensuring that all health and safety checks, action plans, reactive work and general up keep of the building is completed
- To ensure that all compliance checks and reactive work is completed
- Grounds maintenance including lawn cutting, hedge trimming, weed control, shrub maintenance, fence and garden furniture maintenance, etc.
- Carry out general repairs, including carpentry, minor plumbing and electrical work, decoration, tiling etc and any other reasonable task requested by the line management in connection with the general upkeep of internal and external areas.
- The periodic testing of emergency and other systems as appropriate for the safety of the staff and residents.
- Preventative maintenance including periodic checks for compliance
- Liaise with external contractors and service engineers
- To use Eagle (CMMS) to plan, manage and update outstanding works/tasks
- To keep up to date with safety documentation as required by the Estates Department.
- To work in a safe and effective manner at all times.
Working hours: 8:00-17:00, 40 hours per week

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Swansea SA3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Maintenance: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- UK Drivers Licence (preferred)
