Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
· Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of early years practitioners to deliver exceptional care and learning experiences
· Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative working environment
· Support staff through coaching, mentoring, and continuous professional development
· Promote wellbeing and resilience within the team
Quality of Care & Education
· Ensure outstanding standards of teaching, learning, and development in line with the EYFS framework
· Create a stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and independence
· Monitor and evaluate practice, driving continuous improvement
· Champion inclusive practices that meet the diverse needs of all children
Child Development & Safeguarding
· Ensure each child’s individual needs are understood, respected, and supported
· Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection
· Work collaboratively with families and external professionals to support children’s development
· Promote children’s emotional wellbeing and resilience
Operations & Compliance
· Oversee the day-to-day running of the setting, ensuring effective organisation and staffing
· Ensure full compliance with Ofsted requirements, EYFS statutory framework, and local policies
· Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy to ensure sustainability
· Maintain accurate records and robust procedures
Partnerships & Community
· Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers
· Act as an ambassador for the setting within the local community
· Communicate openly, professionally, and compassionately
· Encourage parental involvement and engagement in children’s learning
What We’re Looking For
· Essential Skills & Experience
· Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years/Childcare
· Proven experience in a leadership or senior practitioner role
· In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
· Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills

Pay: £32,500.00-£36,500.00 per year
