If you love being a chef but not the unsociable hours, then this is the perfect role for you. We only operate breakfast and lunch service hours and take pride in producing most of our food from scratch.
The Sous Chef will report to the Head Chef and be involved in the day to day running of a busy kitchen for breakfast and lunch service. We have full time and part time roles available on a pro-rata basis.
They will be required to be able to work as a part of a team but also alone at times. The key skills desired for this role include;
- In-depth knowledge of the kitchen’s routines and utensils
- Ability to grasp and follow the Head Chef’s culinary instructions
- Knowledge of food preparation methods and presentation
- Knowledge of how to maintain and care for culinary utensils
- Ability to work under pressure through rapid deadlines
Pay: £31,000.00 per year
