Intro:
The Late Shift Warehouse Operative is required to participate in our warehouse operations and activities and lead a small team of warehouse operators. The working hours are 10.30am to 7.00pm.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities include pulling, craning and loading materials for onward delivery. This work is of a physical nature and involves lifting, carrying and pulling. The objective is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
A non-negotiable key objective for the role is to ensure that all vehicles are loaded prior to the end of the shift.

- Preparing customer orders by processing delivery ticket requests; pulling/craning materials, banding and labelling consignments where required, ready for vehicle loading.
- Quantity and quality check all material before loading.
- Re-pull any errors from the early shift.
- Ensure all material is loaded safely and efficiently on the delivery vehicles.• Pull and load material for production trailers.
- Conduct stock discrepancy checks; ensuring all stock discrepancies are reported to the Supervisor.
- Ensure material (stock) is stowed away in the correct location.
- Ensure good housekeeping is maintained throughout the bays; to have a thorough end of shift clean-up daily.
- To comply, and ensure all operators comply, with the dress code, HSE and quality standards agreed within the company.
- Ensure all ‘Before Use Checks’ and reporting of faults is performed.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping all racking and floor areas free from waste.
- To ensure machinery is operated in line with the published SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) at all times.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing any other task as specified by the Supervisor / Depot Manager.
