Job Description:

Our Head Office is based in Walkden, Greater Manchester and is progressing with a hardworking and committed team with over 50 years’ experience in the industry, that share the same passion.
The position of Hire Controller will be based on our rehire team & requires you will be part of a team who services our customers’ requirements on a daily basis. This could be anything from a quote on an existing hire to a query on an existing hire.
Responsibilities include:
- Converting hire enquiries to orders
- Actioning Off hires, general day to day customer service tasks for live hires
- Have the ability to problem solve
- Excellent telephone manner along with great written and verbal communication skills
- Use in house system in order to check availability and process the hire accurately to minimise mistakes leading to potential credits
- Attention to detail
- Provide a consistently good service in order to exceed customers' expectations
- Deal with customer enquiries in a professional and polite manner
- Build strong and helpful relationships with colleagues and customers
The ideal candidate will have: -
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hire industry
- Be proactive
- Excellent customer service and relationship skills
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multi task and work under pressure
- Have confidence in a busy, customer facing role
- Good attention to detail
Working days Monday – Friday 8-5.30pm.
Working from home is not an option in this role.
