Job Overview
The York Street Rangers are a welcoming face on the city's streets, responding to business interactions and public interactions, as well as first aid incidents. In addition to their day-to-day duties, the Street Ranger team in particular supports other city centre stakeholders and businesses with a variety of services.
This is a part time vacancy , working each Saturday day time however additional flexible hours are also available.
They support partners in dealing with low level crime and disorder and work closely as part of a crime reduction plan. It is such a wide ranging role, no day is ever the same!
We are looking for an SIA licensed individual to join our team as a Street Ranger!
- Good communication and customer service is essential
- Must be able to organise workload, carry out patrols and positively engage with the public and businesses.
- Must be able to provide a full 5 year checkable work/education history
Rate of pay is to demonstrate equivalence of working full time hours.
This is an active frontline role , ideal for those who love keeping fit and meeting new people every day!
Pay: From £486.00 per month
