Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will possess experience in commercial cleaning and janitorial services, ensuring a safe and organised environment for all staff. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of industrial areas, including floors, machinery, and workstations using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Ensure waste disposal is managed efficiently and in accordance with safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of communal areas such as restrooms, break rooms, and entry points
- Follow health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when stock levels are low
- Operate specialised cleaning machinery as required, adhering to operational guidelines
- Assist with deep-cleaning tasks during scheduled maintenance periods or as directed by supervisors
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning procedures and safety standards is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and handle heavy equipment if necessary

Pay: £12.21-£12.50 per hour
