Salary: Salary Range £41,000.00 - £49,000.00 per annum
Location: The successful applicant will be based in the UK and working fully remotely.
Job Type: PERMANENT FULL TIME/Part time Hours: 32 - 40 HOURS

We are looking for a Mental Health Children's and Young Person CBT Therapist to join our existing team to provide mental health assessments and CBT treatment to children and young people via telephone and video.
The successful applicant will be based in the UK and working fully remotely. Your success will contribute to the continued growth of the mental health team.

Responsibilities
- To provide mental health assessments and CBT treatment remotely via telephone or video to children & young people (CYP) as part of the IPRS mental health service.

To conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine appropriate treatment pathways.

Deliver CBT interventions for a broad range of common mental health difficulties in children and young people.

To liaise with patients, family members, and other professionals as required.

To help manage and escalate CYP cases where clinical risk or safeguarding concerns have been identified.

Take part in clinical audits in line with reflective practice and for wider service quality improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal regulations (e.g. access to medical records, Data Protection Act).

Participate in service improvements

To improve client satisfaction by ensuring the patient journey accurately reflects the IPRS triage and case management service.

To carry out initial CYP mental health assessments, providing a good quality assessment with recommended treatment in line with patient's policy.

To provide CYP CBT treatment remotely via telephone and video with adherence to best practice guidelines.

To complete risk and safeguarding assessment in line with best practice and company guidelines.

To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following:
Qualifications:
Have a professional qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Hold full BABCP accreditation having had their first audit with the BABCP Experience: (BACP is not suitable)
CBT experience working with children & young people through both virtual and face to face treatment and assessment Knowledge:
You will be computer literate with good Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills. Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers verbally and in writing
Ability to time manage effectively and demonstrate excellent organisation skills
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the patient and their needs
Logical decision making and a pro-active approach to operational and clinical management
