This is a great opportunity to join the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) as a Neonatal Senior Professional Officer in the Baby Friendly Initiative team.
This remote-based role has a primary focus on supporting and delivering Baby Friendly assessments and training. The post holder will play a key role in undertaking online and in-person assessments of services seeking Baby Friendly accreditation across the UK and supporting the facilitation and delivery of training. Travel to in-person assessments is integral to this role with assessments being planned well in advance to enable team members to plan around travel requirements.
You will be an experienced practitioner with a strong track record of leading the implementation of the UNICEF UK Baby Friendly Initiative standards within a relevant UK public service, alongside delivering infant feeding training to health professionals. In addition to assessment and training activity, the role contributes to the effective delivery of the Baby Friendly programme, supports the development and ongoing delivery of new and existing initiatives, and provides support to the National Infant Feeding Network. We particularly welcome interest from applicants with current experience in neonatal services.
