We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Window Cleaning / Exterior Cleaning Operative to join our team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of clients’ windows and exterior surfaces, ensuring high standards of service are consistently delivered. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess good communication skills, and have a professional attitude towards customer service. Previous experience in cleaning or working at heights is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the cleaning industry while working in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Clean windows and external surfaces of residential and commercial properties using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely, including ladders, scaffolding, and specialised cleaning tools.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, paying attention to detail.
- Maintain safety procedures at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage scheduling and organise daily tasks efficiently.
- Drive company vehicle to various job sites, adhering to road safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management.
Qualifications
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is preferred.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional manner.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Physically fit with the ability to work at heights and carry out manual tasks for extended periods.
- Previous experience in window or exterior cleaning is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
- Reliable, punctual, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
