We are now seeking an experienced and compassionate Children’s Senior Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated team and play a key role in shaping positive outcomes for children and young people aged 10–17.

The Role
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will:
- Support the Registered Manager and Assistant Manager in delivering high-quality, therapeutic care
- Act as a positive role model and shift leader, guiding and supporting staff on shift
- Create a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment
- Support children and young people with daily routines, education, appointments, and activities
- Take key-worker responsibility, contributing to care planning, reviews, and progress monitoring
- Work collaboratively with families, social workers, and external professionals
- Use effective de-escalation and behaviour management strategies
- Ensure accurate recording, strong handovers, and high standards of care documentation
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for every child
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about working with children and young people
- Calm, resilient, approachable, and emotionally intelligent
- A strong communicator with good written and verbal skills
- A team player who can also lead and support others
- Committed to developing both themselves and their colleagues
- Child-focused, empathetic, and values-driven
Essential Requirements
- Minimum age: 22 years
- At least 12 months’ experience working with children and young people
- Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Children & Young People’s Workforce or Children’s Residential Care
- Previous children’s residential care experience
- Full UK Drivers License
