Job Overview
We are looking for a caring, reliable, and motivated Day Support Worker to provide one-to-one support in an individual’s home and community. The role involves assisting with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care in a respectful and dignified manner
- Supporting with medication administration in line with care plans
- Preparing and assisting with meals and fluids
- Supporting daily routines and wellbeing
- Accompanying the client into the community when required
- Driving an automatic vehicle to enable outings and appointments
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in health or wellbeing
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment
Requirements
- Caring, patient, and trustworthy approach
- Previous experience in care or support work preferred (not essential)
- Confidence in supporting with medication and personal care (training can be provided)
- Valid UK driving licence
- Ability to drive an automatic car
- Good communication skills
- Right to work in the UK
- DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
