We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team, providing high-quality support to individuals in care homes setting. Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility

Support individuals with their care plans, ensuring all needs are met effectively and compassionately

Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental wellbeing

Help with meal preparation and feeding as required

Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in clients’ conditions

Support clients in maintaining their independence and social engagement

Collaborate with team members to deliver consistent, person-centred care

Utilise IT systems to update records and communicate effectively within the team
Requirements

Experience working within a care home or home care environment is desirable

Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement them effectively

Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Strong IT skills for documentation and communication purposes

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients

Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to work various shifts including weekdays, weekends, or evenings as required
