- £30 - £35 per hour DOE (Paid via PAYE weekly)

About Us
The Education Network is a trusted provider of 1–1 tuition across Cheshire, working closely with schools, local authorities and alternative provisions to support young people who benefit from a more personalised approach to education.
Due to increasing demand in the Ellesmere Port area, we are seeking experienced Maths / English & Science Teachers/Tutors to provide tailored 1–1 support to students aged 11–16 outside mainstream education.

The Role
You'll support a small number of carefully selected students, matched to your experience and strengths, enabling you to build positive relationships and make a genuine difference through personalised learning.
Sessions are delivered during the school day and typically:
- Last between 1–2 hours.
- Take place in local libraries and occasionally students' homes (fully risk assessed).
- Focus on teaching Maths, English or Science at KS3 and/or KS4 level.
- Help students rebuild confidence, engagement and progress.
The Students You'll Support
Students may:
- Be disengaged from education.
- Have mild to moderate SEN or SEMH needs.
- Require additional emotional or behavioural support.
- Benefit from patient, consistent and relationship-based teaching.
What We're Looking For
- Experience teaching the UK curriculum at KS3 and/or KS4.
- Strong behaviour management and the ability to build rapport with young people.
- Confidence in planning engaging 1–1 sessions and overcoming learning anxieties.
- A patient, adaptable and empathetic approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Access to your own transport and ability to travel locally.
