Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational performance. Duties
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out repairs and assembly tasks
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and modifications
- Conduct equipment assembly, installation, and commissioning as required
- Carry out heavy lifting tasks safely to move parts or machinery components
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical repair, maintenance, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, and assembly procedures
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments
- Experience with equipment repair in industrial or manufacturing environments is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Good communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
