WE’RE HIRING – EXPERIENCED Landscape Maintenance Operative / Gardener
Due to continued growth and a busy order book, we’re looking to take on an experienced Landscape Maintenance Operative / Gardener to join our expanding team on a self-employed basis.
We are looking for a landscape maintenance operative to carry out grass mowing, strimming, weeding and tidying work as part of our maintenance team which may including driving ride on mowers and pulling a trailer.
When the Garden maintenance side is quite there is an opportunity for you to labour on our other projects for customers.Experience in this field is preferred but not essential.
You must have a full driving licence and your own transport.
We are offering good rates of pay for the right candidate dependent on age and experience.
This position is full time and permanent and you must be enthusiastic and motivated to work to a high standard on your own as well as working as part of a team.
What We’re Looking For
Ability to carry out work to a high standard with attention to detail
Pride in all aspects of your work – from workmanship to keeping tools & sites clean and tidy
Able to work well within a team and independently when required
Strong work ethic, reliability and professionalism
Own vehicle & Full UK driving licence (essential)
Own hand tools, levels, shovel etc (essential)
CSCS card preferred (can be arranged for the right candidate)
LocationBased in North Yorkshire – Most of our work is in the York, Thirsk, Harrogate area
Mainly local work, with the occasional out-of-town project
