GP Veterinary Surgeon - Bishop Auckland, County Durham

Candor Vets is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a dedicated GP Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established small animal practice in County Durham. This role offers the chance to work within a supportive environment, focusing on high-quality patient care and professional development.
The Role
The successful candidate will join a committed team, providing general practice veterinary services. While additional qualifications or interests in areas such as surgery, ophthalmology, or dentistry are welcomed, they are not essential. The practice offers flexibility with working hours and operates a dedicated out-of-hours team, meaning no OOH contribution is required from this role. There is a manageable 1:6 weekend rota.
The practice is well-equipped with an array of in-house diagnostic and treatment tools, including an in-house laboratory, CT scanner (pending installation), Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, Upper and lower GI tract endoscopes, rigid female canine cystoscope, bronchoscope, laparoscopic equipment, and a Hydrotherapy unit. This comprehensive setup supports thorough patient care and allows for advanced procedures.

- Salary: Up to £55,000 pro rata, dependent on experience and qualifications.
