Foundry Operative
We have an excellent opportunity to join our team at The Stockton Casting Company
We are looking to increase our existing workforce with foundry operatives working both day and night shifts, to keep up with growing business demands, and assist in manufacturing of high integrity complex iron castings, including large diesel engine components, compressors and pumps,
This job role has various general Foundry tasks, including:
- Manufacturing sand moulds
- Core blowing
- Fettling
- Pattern box preparation and maintenance
- General housekeeping
Environment:
- A dirty working environment which may be hot or cold weather dependant.
- Physically demanding.
- You will need to wear the appropriate PPE for each role.
- Due to the nature of certain roles we operate a clean shaven policy

Hours of Work
- 39 hours p.w.
- Day shift 06.00 – 14.30 Monday to Thursday, Friday 06.00-13.00
- Night shift 19.30 -06.00 Monday to Wednesday, Thursday 20.30 -06.00,
Salary
From £12.71 - £13.80 dependant on experience
Any successful applicants will initially start under an agency umbrella , until completion of a satisfactory 3 month probationary period.
