Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced MIG Pipe Welder / Fabricator to join a busy steel fabrication company in the West Midlands. The successful candidate will have a strong background in MIG welding, pipework, and steel fabrication, and be confident producing high-quality work in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Duties
- Carry out MIG welding on pipework and steel fabricated components
- Work from engineering drawings and fabrication details
- Cut, prepare, fit and assemble materials ready for welding
- Perform quality checks to ensure work meets required standards
- Use hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times
Skills / Experience Required
- Proven MIG welding experience
- Pipe welding experience
- Strong steel fabrication background
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Experience working in a workshop / manufacturing environment
Beneficial
