We’re partnering with a well-established and respected supplier in the plumbing, heating and construction merchant sector who is looking to strengthen their commercial team with a Technical Sales Estimator.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being right in the middle of customers, pricing and suppliers — where no two days are the same and accuracy + speed really matter.
What you’ll be doing
- Handling incoming quotation and tender enquiries from commercial customers
- Preparing accurate, timely pricing and estimates
- Supporting internal and external sales teams with technical quotations
- Working closely with suppliers to secure best pricing and product info
- Managing multiple live enquiries and prioritising workload effectively
- Supporting contract pricing and commercial opportunities
- Ensuring customers receive a fast, professional and consistent service
What we’re looking for
- Experience in estimating, technical sales, quotations or trade/merchant environment
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
- Confident communicator who can deal with customers and suppliers professionally
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Good IT skills (Excel, pricing systems, CRM etc.)
