Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team, supporting various construction, gardening, and maintenance projects. Duties
- Assisting with landscape maintenance, including planting, pruning, and turf care
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and efficiently
- Supporting excavation activities using excavators and other machinery
- Installing and maintaining irrigation systems
- Performing general site clearance, debris removal, and organisation of materials
- Assisting with basic construction tasks such as mixing materials or setting foundations
- Conducting routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Supporting team members with specialised tasks related to horticulture or building works as required
Skills
- Experience or interest in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to maintaining tools and small machinery
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely
- Ability to operate an excavator (training provided if necessary)
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and upkeep
- Basic understanding of construction processes and site safety procedures
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining work areas
- Good physical fitness for outdoor work involving lifting, digging, and manual labour
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in varied weather conditions
