Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, altering, and repairing garments to meet clients’ specifications and ensure high-quality standards. Duties
- Sew, alter, and repair garments with precision and attention to detail
- Alter mens jackets, waistcoats, trousers
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to meet deadlines and uphold service standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tailor or in a similar role within menswear alterations.
- Strong sewing skills with proficiency in hand stitching and machine sewing techniques
- Knowledge of different fabrics, patterns, and garment construction methods
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to interpret design sketches and client instructions accurately
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Flexibility to adapt to varying workload demands and client preferences
