As part of the apprenticeship delivery team, you will develop the skills needed to guide learners through the Lead Traffic Management Operative apprenticeship.
This role would suit someone that has vast experience within the traffic management industry but is interested in a change of direction and the opportunity to pass on their knowledge to apprentices.
Experience in delivering training, teaching and assessing, especially the industry specific Lantra qualifications is desirable, however full training will be provided to the right candidate that has the drive to succeed.
Typical duties of the Apprenticeship Training Officer will include:
· Use your traffic management knowledge to develop learners' knowledge and skills.
· To coach, mentor and guide learners who are engaged on apprenticeship programmes.
· Actively support and motivate learners across the learner journey to help them with the timely completion of their learning aims and qualification. Contact will be varied and will be primarily face to face.
· Deliver inspiring training and coaching sessions to groups and individual learners.
· Set individual targets for each learner based on capability to ensure milestones are met.
· Manage your diary so that agreed contact with learners is achieved.
· Identify and assess learners' needs and put in place robust learning plans, with realistic and challenging goals, that enable learners to understand their personal journey and realise their potential.
· Observe, mark, and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learner's qualification and meet the needs of the qualification.
· Provide insightful, constructive and informative feedback to help the learner maximise their potential.
· Proactively monitor, evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met and that the learner has an outstanding experience.
· Provide regular, accurate learner progression information and compliance documents to ensure monthly funding compliance.
· Vetting, enrolling and coaching the learners from pre-induction through to the End Point Assessment.

· The ability to identify areas of underperformance and take the necessary steps to rectify these specific areas.
