This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Chef de Partie to take ownership of their section, develop their culinary skills, and progress their career within a supportive and established hospitality business.
As a Chef de Partie, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting fresh food dishes to consistently high culinary standards
- Managing your own section efficiently during busy lunch and dinner services
- Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the day-to-day operation of the professional kitchen
- Assisting with training, mentoring, and supporting junior chefs and kitchen staff
- Managing stock control, stock rotation, and food ordering requirements
- Minimising food waste through effective preparation, portion control, and kitchen management
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health and safety, and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Demonstrating strong knife skills, food preparation techniques, and culinary expertise whilst working under pressure
We are looking for a Chef de Partie with the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie, Demi Chef de Partie, or in a similar professional kitchen role
- A minimum of 4 years' experience working within fresh food kitchens, restaurants, hotels, or hospitality venues
- Strong knowledge of food safety, food hygiene, and kitchen health and safety regulations
- Experience working within a fast-paced kitchen environment during busy service periods
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- A passion for fresh food, quality ingredients, and delivering exceptional standards
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent team-working skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varying shift patterns
In return, the successful Chef de Partie will receive a salary of up to £33,000 plus benefits, including:
