SHIPPING SALES DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Our client is a well-established freight and logistics company based in Northern Ireland. Farset Talent has been retained to support their recruitment for this exciting growth role.
They are looking for an experienced Shipping Sales Development Executive to join their team — someone with a strong shipping background who enjoys building relationships and getting out in front of clients.
This is a field-based role. You'll be on the road around 40-50% of your week, visiting clients and prospects across Northern Ireland.

THE ROLE
Day to day you'll be:
- Developing new business relationships with shipping agents, freight forwarders and logistics companies across NI
- Managing and growing an existing client base
- Attending client meetings and site visits across Northern Ireland
- Working closely with the operations team to deliver excellent service
- Contributing to revenue growth and reporting on pipeline activity

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A solid background in shipping, freight forwarding or logistics — essential
- Full UK driving licence — essential
- Currently based in Northern Ireland — essential
- Full right to work in the United Kingdom — essential
- A confident communicator who is comfortable meeting clients at all levels
