Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our joinery team,supporting various construction and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, practical skills in using hand and power tools,maintenance and general labouring tasks, and the ability to operate a range of tools and machinery. This role offers an opportunity to develop hands-on experience in joinery works, and site upkeep within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Assisting with joinery and tasks as required,
- Operating hand tools, power tools,
- Supporting construction activities by moving materials, digging trenches, and assisting with groundworks.
- Performing routine site maintenance to uphold safety standards and cleanliness
- Assisting with general repairs and mechanical tasks as required
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Prior experience or knowledge in building maintenance, is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Practical understanding of irrigation systems and site maintenance procedures
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently when required
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction or horticulture are beneficial but not essential
