We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician to join our vibrant beauty salon. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional nail care and beauty services, creating a welcoming environment for clients. This role offers opportunities to utilise a diverse skill set, including management, social media management, and guest services, to enhance client satisfaction and business growth. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality treatments, maintaining a pristine salon environment, and engaging with clients to promote our range of services. Previous experience in eyelash extensions, makeup application, deep tissue massage, and barbering is highly desirable. This position is paid and suitable for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and nail art with attention to detail and hygiene standards
- Provide specialised services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to meet client preferences
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and handling enquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the salon workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Upsell additional services and retail products to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Utilise social media management skills to promote the salon’s offerings, showcase work, and engage with clients online
- Assist with guest services to ensure a memorable experience for all visitors
- Support management tasks as required, contributing to the overall smooth operation of the salon
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with an ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
- Proven experience in nail care treatments along with knowledge of eyelash extensions and makeup application
- Management skills including appointment scheduling and retail upselling techniques
- Social media management proficiency to enhance the salon’s online presence
- Experience in hospitality or guest services is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and team members
- Ability to perform deep tissue massage or barbering is considered a plus but not essential
- Organised with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
