Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are kept in pristine condition, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in diverse settings, including commercial, hospitality, and residential environments, with a focus on delivering high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper towels, and cleaning materials as needed
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any faults or damages
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning when required
- Ensure all areas are presented in an organised and professional manner
Experience
- Previous domestic or commercial cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Skills in customer service are considered a plus for roles involving client interaction or
- Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment usage is beneficial
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
