This is a highly rewarding role offering flexible night hours and the opportunity to deliver truly person-centred care.
About the RoleYou will provide 1:1 clinical care to children in the community during the night, ensuring their safety and comfort while building meaningful relationships with families.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, holistic nursing care in the home.
- Tracheostomy care and suctioning.
- PEG / JEG feeding and management.
- Respiratory support (oxygen, ventilation, airway management).
- Epilepsy management and emergency medication.
- Airvo, cough assist, and stoma care.
- Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in condition overnight.
- Work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Children’s Nurse (RNC) / RGN with paediatric experience.
- Passion for working with children with complex needs.
- Clinical skills in tracheostomy, feeding, and respiratory care.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Strong communication and a compassionate approach.
