About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Children's Home Manager to lead and develop our children's residential care home. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader who is committed to achieving outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, compliance, and staff development. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the children's home.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing care team.
- Promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection.
- Manage staffing, rotas, recruitment, supervision, and performance management.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with local authorities, families, and external professionals.
- Ensure accurate record keeping and reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement and work towards achieving outstanding outcomes.
Qualifications
- Level 5 qualification
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire and support staff to deliver exceptional care.
