Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our nurturing childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their early development and learning. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in your care
- Supervise and support children throughout their daily routines, including play, meal times, and rest periods
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and developmental milestones
- Support the organisation of nursery activities and outings, including driving when necessary
- Lead by example in promoting good behaviour, manners, and social skills among children
- Contribute to the organisation's management team by assisting with daily operational tasks and staff supervision when required
Experience
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Experience with organising activities that promote learning through play
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or supplies as needed

Pay: £8,000.00-£10,000.00 per year
