About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of an inclusive primary school in Skegness, who are seeking an experienced SEN TA to support in their newly developed hub from September 2026.
This is a rewarding role supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including communication and interaction needs, cognition and learning needs, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with SEND within a dedicated hub environment
- Delivering targeted interventions for communication, literacy, numeracy and emotional regulation
- Providing 1:1 and small‑group support tailored to individual needs
- Implementing EHCP strategies and personalised learning plans
- Assisting with behaviour regulation using consistent, supportive approaches
- Working collaboratively with teachers and the SEND team to maintain a positive, structured learning environment
Requirements
- Experience supporting children with SEND in a school or similar setting
- A patient, calm and adaptable approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
- Understanding of SEND strategies and inclusive practice
- Two recent references and an enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
