Location: Various venues across Portsmouth, Havant and Fareham (travel required)

Mini Athletics Portsmouth is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Weekend Sports Coach to deliver exciting athletics-based sessions for children aged 2–8 years old.
Our classes help young children develop confidence, coordination and a love of being active through imaginative games and athletics activities such as running, jumping and throwing.
If you enjoy being active, leading fun activities and inspiring young children, this could be the perfect role for you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading fun and energetic Mini Athletics Portsmouth sessions
- Encouraging and inspiring young children to get involved
- Delivering structured lesson plans (all provided)
- Creating a safe, positive and engaging environment
- Welcoming and interacting with children and parents
- Setting up and packing away equipment
- Transporting equipment to and from venues
- Keeping simple attendance records
What We're Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Energetic, enthusiastic and reliable
- Confident leading groups of young children
- Friendly and engaging with parents and families
- Organised and able to run sessions smoothly
- Passionate about helping children enjoy sport and activity
Requirements
- 18+ years old
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (required to transport equipment)
- Available Saturday and Sunday mornings
- Willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check, if not already held
