Hillsborough Medical Practice is seeking to recruit a 4 - 6 sessional Salaried GP on a fixed term contract for 12 months.
Ideally, we would like the successful candidate to join the practice around October 2026 and definitely before the beginning of November 2026. (We also welcome applications from those completing training before this date and well as those already experienced.)
The sessions would be spread over Monday, Thursday and Friday to meet the current business needs. Working hours are 8.30am – 6pm with a lunch break.
Hillsborough Medical Practice currently has a clinical team comprising of 3 GP partners and 2 salaried GPs, 2 practice nurses and 2 Federation Practice Pharmacists. We have an experienced Practice Manager and a very supportive office team. We are a rapidly growing practice with around 11,000 permanently registered patients.
In terms of our clinical operating systems, we are an EMIS WEB and DOCMAN practice. We also fully utilise both the messaging and Florey features on the AccuRx Messaging system.

As an exceptionally high achieving QOF practice we would expect the successful candidate to have an active role in supporting this along with any other LES / DES activity the practice participates in.
We are a NIMDTA, QUB and UU training practice so you will be required to participate in the practice activities with students when placed on the rota to do so.
Contract and salary will be in keeping with the BMA recommendations.
