Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday – Thursday and 8:00am – 1:00pm Friday
Hourly Rate: £16.00 - £19.00 per hour depending on experience
Duration: Permanent
Benefits: 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, overtime paid at time and a half, PPE provided to include boots and polo shirts, sick pay, pension scheme.
Our client, based in Newmarket, is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to become a valued member of a close-knit, family-run business with a team of 16 employees.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls. If you have the skills and experience we are looking for, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Duties:
- Operate CNC multi-axis machines using Fanuc controls
- Keep documentation up to date
- Follow health and safety standards
- Carry out own quality control and inspections
- Meet productivity targets
- Pre-planned maintenance of machines
- General machine shop duties
- Wiling to undertake any task asked of you by the business.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in programming and operating Fanuc control systems
- An understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
- Experience in using inspection equipment
- A good attention to detail
- A good team player
- Willing to work overtime where required by the business.
